Matt Colangelo's writing has appeared in Lunch Ticket, Arcturus (Chicago Review of Books’ literary magazine), Munchies, Food & Wine, and Human Parts, and has received honorable mention from Glitter Train. He holds a Master's in English Literature from Oxford University and an MFA in Creative Writing from The New School. In 2018 and 2019, he spent a Fulbright year in central Italy collecting oral histories of earthquake survivors. He is currently transcribing those interviews and developing them into a collection of essays about resilience and memory.

Before starting his MFA, Matt was an Associate Director of Creative Strategy at a digital strategy and design firm (Code & Theory) and Director of Strategy at an ad agency (Y&R New York). In 2013, he ran a blog called 90 Days of Making, which he spoke about at SXSW 2014 and which led to him starting a Y&R satellite office.
